San Francisco, CA

CellarPass, the leading online guest management service used by the largest wine brands in the world, announces the launch of CellarPass Guest Link Pro, an iPad app aimed at improving the hospitality experience for busy wineries, breweries and distilleries. Built on the foundation of CellarPass' popular Table Pro app launched in 2017, Guest Link Pro provides CellarPass subscribers the guest management tools they need in a portable format, allowing concierges and guest greeters to provide a more personal experience upon arrival.

Available for immediate download from the Apple App Store, CellarPass Guest Link Pro provides three different modes of guest management; reservations, ticketing and passport events. Businesses that require reservations, or prefer to manage guest visitation through bookings will enjoy the portability of using Guest Link Pro on the iPad. Previous versions of Guest Link were limited in features, which was the impetus for designing a brand-new version of the app.

For the first time every in the CellarPass Guest Link app, hosts can book private, one-off reservations, allowing maximum flexibility in handling guest bookings. New support for adding food items and other special choices are also now available in the app. A new and improved booking interface seamlessly integrates with nearly a dozen industry-leading eCommerce and CRM solutions, allowing the Guest Link app to look up guest contact information, LTV and much more.

For event organizers that host special events like wine release parties, open houses, club pick-up parties and other special events will be pleased with the new interface for managing ticketed events. New app-native barcode scanning allows faster ticket scanning and seamless guest check-in, eliminating check-in lines. Event organizers that prefer guest lists and offering will call as an option will be pleased with Guest Link Pro.

For properties that are participating in a CellarPass-powered passport event will benefit from the new app design and native barcode scanning. The programming team found dozens of ways to improve the performance of the passport check-in features, making passport redemption a snap. Just point the iPad with the Guest Link Pro app installed at the passport's barcode and the passport holder is checked in.

Developed by a team that includes wine industry and technology veterans from the SEO, ecommerce, guest management and compliance sectors, CellarPass Table Pro enters the growing table management market that until today has been led by companies that have been slow to meet the complex scheduling needs of the craft beverage market. CellarPass Guest Link Pro 2.0 is an iOS app designed for iPad Air, iPad Pro and iPad Mini and is now available to any business that subscribes to any of the different CellarPass plans.

“We applied all the lessons learned from our investment in Table Pro and used that as our foundation for Guest Link Pro 2.0,” says Jonathan Elliman, co-founder of CellarPass. “We actually found ways to improve Table Pro while building Guest Link Pro and though it delayed us a few months, the wait was worth it because now we have two apps that allow us to maintain our competitive edge in the marketplace by offering different tiers of our service,” continues Elliman. “This allows our subscribers to grow into our platform, rather than outgrow it which is common for the other reservation platforms.”

Beyond event management, CellarPass is integrated with the leading ecommerce and club member platforms to look up guests’ purchase history and club status, allowing staff to make critical business decisions. Rare to guest management systems is business intelligence. With CellarPass, craft beverage business users can see the entire lifecycle of how a guest became aware of the brand, booked their visit and ongoing purchase habits with CellarPass’ integrated partners like OrderPort, Vinsuite, AMS, bLoual, WineDirect, Salesforce, MailChimp eCommerce 360, Facebook advertising and other popular industry eCommerce platforms.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2019, CellarPass’ guest management platform has been used by the largest and most in-demand tasting rooms in the U.S., most notably in Napa Valley and Sonoma County and is now expanding quickly across the U.S. CellarPass has offices in Napa Valley, Belleve, Seattle and Paso Robles. The offices are to facilitate regional support in new markets. In 2018, CellarPass booked over one million guests generating $42 million in event fees for their members.
