Three Winter Music Performances in Winery Tasting Lounges Kick Off the 2020 Music Series
San Francisco, CA
CellarPass, the leading wine industry booking and marketing platform, has announced the inaugural CellarPass Music Series scheduled for winter 2020 at three exclusive tasting lounges in the Napa Valley. The dynamic musical act Dueling Pianos will perform on January 17th at Trinitas Cellars at the Vista Collina Resort, February 21st at Handwritten Wines in their new location in the Town of Yountville, and March 13th at Acumen Wines in downtown Napa. All performances will begin at 6pm.
Dating back to the 1890's Dueling Pianos started as a way for two musicians to stage a friendly battle and show who can play best. Today, Dueling Pianos is one of the hottest live acts of entertainment where the audience gets to request the songs, from classic rock, to R&B, to today's Top 40 hits. More than just a sing-along or live entertainment, guests can tip the musicians to change the tune at any time, offering a fun, interactive experience where the audience dictates the musical flow.
Designed to be an intimate and lively evening set in Napa Valley, each event date is set to accommodate only 50-60 people. Wines by the glass will be offered along with lite bites, and one-night special offers at each venue will also be available.
“We’re very excited to be hosting one of the inaugural CellarPass Music Series events this February 21st at our new SOYO House location in Yountville,” said Joel Quigley of Handwritten Wines. “With our grand opening at the beginning of 2020, this will be one of our first public music events at our new home. Of course, we’ll have a selection of our small-lot, hillside and mountain Napa Valley District Cabernet Sauvignons on the menu for sipping to the music!”
“Acumen is always exploring new ways to blend our love for the arts and wine, so we are thrilled to be part of CellarPass’ Inaugural Napa Valley Music Series taking place at our downtown wine lounge on March 13th, 2020,” said Diana Schweiger, Sales & Marketing Director of Acumen Wines. “With flagship wines flowing, soft lights and two gifted pianists playing off one another, the ambiance will have an old-fashioned speakeasy vibe - our guests are going to love it! For music and wine enthusiasts, it promises to be an unforgettable evening, and we really like how CellarPass has developed a unique and exclusive event series to experience our Acumen wines, including our 100-point Edcora Cabernet.”
Tickets for these three evenings of fine wines, lite bites and interactive entertainment are $30 per person, per event, and can be purchased at www.cellarpass.com/music-series. Must be 21 years of age or older.
“Growing up in Napa Valley, the available live entertainment options have always been far in-between and mostly out of reach for many locals. We wanted to introduce a music series to Napa by creating three, intimate and approachable events that bring back live entertainment that everyone will no doubt enjoy. And we are very fortunate enough to have three of the most incredible Napa Valley wine lounges be our venues for our inaugural Winter Music Series,” stated CellarPass co-founder Jonathan Elliman. “Folks visiting Napa Valley or we locals who enjoy live musical performance paired with great wines will find this series a perfect date night backdrop and a way to showcase that Napa does offer entertainment that everyone can enjoy.”
